Comments for Strict Dress Code Announced for Disney World as New Requirements Hit Resort

The Cinderella castle with blue spires and golden accents stands against a bright blue sky with scattered clouds at the heart of Walt Disney World Resort. The central spire is particularly tall, adorned with a flag at its peak, while a prominent clock greets visitors above the entrance inside Magic Kingdom expansion.

If I were employed by a high(er) end restaurant, and working in the front or the back of the house… I’d be somewhat offended having to serve people barely dressed or sloppily dressed!

After all, the restaurant crew is doing their utmost best to prepare and serve a high-quality meal they take a lot of pride in.

The least the diners can do is show up in respectable attire.

Finally, I hope it spreads to the California Grill, Yachtsman steakhouse and Citricos.
My daughter and I were all dressed up at California grill and sitting next to us was a couple, she was wearing a bathing suit cover up and he had a tank top on, shorts and flippity flops with his man bun sticking out the back of his baseball hat, both stinking of suntan lotion.

These attire guidelines is nothing new. Other restaurants have had these standards forever, but the only place it’s enforced is at Victoria & Alberts
I would certainly like to see people turned away because of their attire if I’m spending money to eat at a high-end place.

It’s about time. I get tired of flip flops, guys shirts ripped open to the bottom or muscle shirts. I don’t need to see your pits nasty toes and other things that show. Disney used to have a full dress code just to get in. They also need to get strict on the language and use of cuss words especially the F-Bomb

Gone to WDW for many many years w kids and without. Our Rule for dinner has always been collared shirts for the boys/men and clean shorts and tops or summer dresses for the girls/women. Tie shoes required if a park visit is in the plans. No exceptions. Never had any issues or complaints even when they were teens. It was the rule and they were told before they left home so they packed accordingly.

    Jiko has these same standards.
