I wish WDW would do this but not let them stand either. You get families with strollers and wagons all standing in the way so they can be in the front, then they put their kids on their shoulders and block everyone else’s view.
Start charging a rediculous price for people to wait. That will cut out a lot of it. Then make it 1/2 hour before the parade.
Or as big as Disney is build a parade route with bleachers all along the route. Open it up a half to one hour before it starts.
Room for all.
This is a problem caused by Disney! They choose to make the resident tickets so cheap that they flood the parks. This makes it difficult for the out of state residents to enjoy their once a year vacations. It makes them reconsider for the amount they are spending if the trip is worth it. When Disney decides to make the ticket prices equal for all Americans ( by increasing the resident prices and therefore able to decrease the general prices), maybe then everyone will be able to enjoy the parks more. At present it appears Disney prefers making Disneyland and Walt Disney World a place for residents of the state only, with the out of state people footing the bill!!!!!!!!!
I actually think Disney should make it one hour before the parade if they’re worried about people waiting and holding spots on the sidewalk at curb area of Main Street which already is limited in space then only allow people to grab their spots 1 hour before. I know there are going to be many who disagree with my opinion but that’s okay opinions are like belly buttons everybody has one but some are kept clean others are a little dirty. 👍🤣🤣🤣
That’s exactly what I was going to say. 1 hour, is plenty of time. If people are just standing there waiting, they should be asked to ‘move along’. It’s just as bad as those who dead stop in the middle of the road, or in front of you. I wish there were more cast members walking around in forcing rules and common courtesy.

If you are someone who is waiting over 2 hours for a 5-minute parade, YOU are the weird one, not the people enforcing the rules.

The real solution is to charge an equal price for all visitors, driving the number of visitors down. Also, limit the number of visitors more.
I enjoyed Disney World, but the wait times suck.
