Everyone else could see that the pricing model was completely whacked and not sustainable. I’m more interested in the process of how it got greenlit in the first place.
When I first heard about a Star Wars themed hotel, I was thinking about a themed resort. That could have made easy money. Instead we got this hiddiously expensive and poorly executed land cruise ship that cost more than a real Disney Cruise, which is already on the high side of cruises in general. I’d also be interested in learning more about how they came up with the pricing and what the behind the scenes costs were. How can a land based “cruise” for 2 days cost more than a 7 day real cruise. How were your costs so much more than a real cruise ship?
