Is this amazing attraction going to be called the “Rainbows and Sunshine Mansion?” Seems like that’ll be the case…

Americans are too soft and fluffy. They disgust me. Disney disgusts me

  2. Donna

    Please leave this ride alone

  3. Annie

This is my favorite ride. I introduced it to my young children and guess what they love it to and they were not scared by this scene. Please stop changing fan favorites! Pretty soon I won’t be going to Disney anymore because of these changes! It’s ridiculous! Is this what Walt would have wanted?

    1. Jedi Superstar

Truly agree with you. My kids went for years and love it. Never got scared once. Now they refuse to take my Grandkids because everything is being changed and ruined.

STOP!! LEAVE IT ALONE! IT IS THE HAUNTED MANSION NOT THE NOT SCARY EVERYONE WONT BE OFFENDED MANSION.

Disney has been destroying their best attractions for years. Pirates and splash mountain come to mind as just two of the many woke changes. It’s the haunted mansion. It’s a haunted house. It’s supposed to be scary. They’ll have to change the name to something like the old house. Keep up the destruction and price increases. It won’t be long before Disney becomes just an old haunting memory.

To many sissy crybabies in this country now. What a shame

    1. Kimberly Cole Zemke

Amen. Too soft. We are going to be taken over by a stronger country that is not triggered by reality.

  7. Rebecca Bristow

Bunch of sissies in this world. Disney needs to stop giving into these people! They’re ruining Walt’s legacy!

Leave it as it is. I am sick of all the idiotic ‘changes’ being made because somebody, somewhere, took offence. The Chapek/Iger leadership has been nothing but a disaster. Loved Disney parks very much for many years but the greed and stupidity of these 2 men has made the experience unaffordable.

If one of these snowflakes feels threatened by this ride, then go somewhere else. It’s called the “Haunted Mansion” for a reason. What were you expecting inside?

  10. Eric Erickson

I agree 100% with all the previous comments!
Disney has seeming bent over backward to accommodate the “Easily Offended of the World” (fake & otherwise) & in the process has destroyed several of THE MOST FAVORITE RIDES!
As was previously commented, anyone that has an issue with the rides as originally designed & presented should simply go elsewhere… places that DON’T “offend” their delicate sensibilities!

Again and again and again someone whines about something and Disney wants to change it to accommodate the cry baby whiner,we have lost too many great rides either completely or story wise due to woke trouble makers and whiners. We are destroying Disney story telling and fun for just a few, stop already enough is enough, I truly miss the Disney of the pre 2000 years

I agree with everyone else: leave the ride alone! It has been that way for many years now. I don’t know what someone would expect to see in a ride that is themed to a haunted house — maybe cute little forest animals walking like Frankenstein?
BTW, the word is “grisly,” not “grizzly”.

They already took the brides bloody axe away for the buttercup who think they can protect kids from real life reality. Might as well close it all down

I was just in Florida and the hanging scene did not happen. We were all flabbergasted. We figured the snowflakes were at it again! If you don’t like it, don’t go on the ride. I am tried of these sissies in the minority, ruining it for the rest of the majority. Grow a pair!!!

    1. Jedi Superstar

AGREED!!! What kind of person would even have an issue with this ride? Honestly, I think it is some idiot working for Disney, not a person riding the ride. These people are insane ob=ver there and get offended by everything. Overly-sensitive to the point of absurdity.

  13. Jedi Superstar

THIS HAS GOTTEN RIDICULOUS. It’s a dark attraction. It’s called the Haunted Mansion. How is this imagery OK for the 50’s through the 2000’s but now it’s too much? So 1971 audiences could get the dark humor but now people are offended? WTH? Is this what people have really become? Overly sensitive freaks. Plus, it does not sound like anyone has complained. This is some idiot’s idea who works for Disney. Fire them. If it bothers them, too bad. It has thrilled millions of people. Walt is rolling over in his grave at all this nonsense. Leave these classic rides alone! What did the Bride do? Illuminate her husband to death? GIve him some reading light? How does this even make sense to anyone. These ridiculous idiots are destroying the history and storytelling of the ride. Go work at Taco Bell, and if THIS or ANY ride at Disney offends you, leave. Don’t ride it. But do not force your incredible foolish world-view on the rest of us. I am offended that they removed the original water ride and replaced it with that boring Princess and the Frog movie. No one seems to care and I don’t force my opinion or view on others.

If Disney really wants to know why Universal has been eating their lunch in recent days, maybe offending no one to the point that we’re left with sanitized blandness isn’t the way forward……

  15. Do NOT change the Haunted Mansion! Changes to Splash, Jungle Cruise, and Pirates were all unnecessary nonsense designed to appease a tiny handful of people. In the process Disney alienated the vast majority of its fan base. Just like their movies lately. This is bad business pure and simple. And by the way, most of the time you can barely see the hanging corpse anyway.

    1. Chris Nielson

I didnt realize the corpse was even there the first time i rode the ride at the age of nine. Henceforth, I was confused as to what the ghost host meant by “His way”. I didn’t understand it till I was an adult and realized the hanging body was there. Guess what, I have no problem with it!

  16. Zack

It’s the HAUNTED Mansion, what do folks expect?
    Quit caving to the whiners!

  17. Chris Nielson

Leave the ride alone, pussies who dont like it, can simply not ride it!
