I’m convinced that our obsession with Boba Fett dates back to the mail-in action-figure days after the ’77 first movie, when even Lucas thought Fett would have more of a pivotal role in the Empire Strikes Back he hadn’t finished the script-treatment for yet.

And there’s actually a backstory reason why General Grievous in Episode 3 keeps staggering and coughing, and has vulnerable organs:
Apparently, he replaced his living parts with more and more machinery, which wasn’t up to technology yet, and that was supposed to plant some foreshadowing hints about Darth Vader’s armor for the climax…Until the final script forgot completely about it.
Still, that doesn’t excuse his RUNNING AWAY all the danged time.
