Haven’t watched the original trilogy since Hamil’s little crybaby meltdown. He and Harrison Ford ruined Star Wars for me. I still watch the prequels on occasion however. That’s all the Star Wars I need to be happy.
to me mark is right and he is happily really being known as the 70’s child’s joker anyways with kevin conroy being his friend and batman.
and yeah to me the star wars saga and i’m a star wars kid ended in 1983 the other trilogy had a terrible comedy relief which NONE OF US liked and then as mark has shared he gets shafted by how he returned and was treated.
There will always only be one Luke, just like there’s only one Leia. The franchise doesn’t need Luke or Leia anymore, and to be quite honest, it hasn’t been the same since they forced JarJar on us. I watched the movies that brought Luke, Leia, and Han back, but it’s time to let them fade into history with the other Masters.
I think if they tried to replace Mark as Luke, it would be the end of the franchise. There would be a massive revolt and exodus of Star Wars fans. I agree that Star Wars is ready to move on without the original heroes and look forward to those stories.. To try to keep Luke or Leia or Han in the story with new actors would harm the franchise greatly.
The last few Star Wars movies ruined it for me! I doubt I would spend a dime on seeing any of the new. DIE garbage! They crapped all over the character of Luke Skywalker! It was done facetiously just to screw over a white male lead! The Stories are garbage, the new characters are garbage. The franchise is now garbage! Not even worth the stuff I wiped of my shoes after taking my dog for a walk! Kathleen Kennedy has destroyed Star Wars! The should of called it DIE Wars! Stick a non hetero chick and make it lame!
