As someone who identifies as normal and can’t stand wokeness, this does bother me. I am a firm believer that remakes should stick to the original story so if he wore a dress in the original, he should wear one in the remake.

Agree didn’t Snow White teach you not to mess with success!

I will not be watching the remake. Disney needs to stop remaking every movie in their archive but I know they won’t because sheeple keep supporting the remakes.

“Unwoking”? If anything removing the scene is in defense of woke. The cross dressing was a joke, and we all thought it was funny. As for the remakes, there is obviously an audience for them, but it’s junk food consumption. Disney needs to return balance to its business and creative teams, and start making the content that Disney use to be famous for. Wholesome family entertainment that stands the test of time.

I feel like that was a pretty important part of the narrative. I’m looking forward to this movie, so I’ll see how they make it work without the disguise, what they do instead.

Just quit remaking movies and make originals. If your imagineers have no imagination fire them and get some people in there with imagination

Bravo Disney! You’re getting back to making movies for all people to enjoy! Go woke go broke

I don’t like that they removed one of the most enjoyable aspects of the aliens: that they were clearly aliens but trying their best to fit in. And Pleakley dressing as a woman is a bit that’s carried on in the rest of the movies. It’s not “woke;” it’s just funny.
I may go see this because my older daughter wants to see it, but I don’t hold out great hopes. A couple of the live action remakes turned out well IMO, but I’m weary of the desperate attempts to redo perfection. I want to see a return to creative NEW projects, not mediocre remakes of already excellent ones.

It should of stayed how it was originally made,it would be funny seeing a man trying to fit in as a woman jmo

Wow. Literally proves people just look for something to complain about.

Keeping him cross dressing and the “joke” it was in 2002 would offend some.

Not doing so is offending others.

Disney is damned if they do, damned if they don’t.

Just wait until we find out Pleakley is gay in this one. Everyone complaining will have their heads explode.

    Can’t wait for this one.

The only thing I care about is Nanni having a big butt. As long as they dont change that, I’m ok. I don’t even remember any details about Pleakley.
