What’s a theme park without a train to ride on? Even myself, Other railfans & theme park goers rely on the Dollywood Express train for an enjoyable ride through the park & valley. If we can’t ride the train, Where else can we ride a train? Hope you can reopen the train ride soon as possible & we can return to riding these legendary rails & listen to the train make it’s noise for people to hear. Even I would.
Good chance that the locomotive is going in for maintenance and possible refurbishment. The boiler needs to be periodically opened up and inspected and cleaned.
We rode the Rebel Railroad once when I was a little boy. We were camping in the Smokies and came into Pigeon Forge for the day. Although a small lad, I remember what fun we had on the Rebel Railroad, shooting cap guns at those darn Yankee calvary. I was with my Dad, Grandfather and brother. Excellent memories. Black bears wandering through our camp site all week. That was a vacation!
WHY DOYOU CONTINUE PRINTING STORY TITLES THAT ARE NO WHERE NEAR ACCURATE. THIS TITLE APPEARS THAT DOLLYWOOOD IS CLOSING DOWN FOR GOOD. YET, ITS THE TRAIN RATHER THAN THE PARK CLOSING. I AM GOING TO STOP READING YOUR STORIES IF YOU KEEP THIS UP
