This is an absolute waste of my time. You should be ashamed.

As a fan of movies, I don’t understand why everyone is so cynical, with bitter condemnation of anything short of a $100 billion mega-FX, comedy-drama-action-thriller. Hey, if you’re a fan of this kind of genre, reflect back before the MCU. These type of movies were B-movies, not worth pouring any $ into. Then WB’s Batmans, followed by FOX’s X-Men, and Sony’s Spider-Man. They made like’rs out of haters, increasing the audience base. Watch them now. Cheesy. Not that great at all, and yet they’ve become classics. Why? Because people realized they were fun. That’s what this Sony venture is now, entertaining, but not life altering, which, somehow, has become the unrealistic expectation of the rabble. Everyone, get of your high horse, please, and have fun again, which is the point.

No they’re NOT entertaining and fans should expect better because we now see what’s possible if you hire a person who understands the properties and what makes them appeal to fans and a writer and director who RESPECTS the material. Sony has given us ample examples that it doesn’t get Spidey and the should let MARVEL handle it and then count the money they make from the deal ala NO WAY HOME. Nuff said.

Huh….umm, anyone who tries to call well made films such as those “cheesy”, really isn’t one to talk.

Whoever decided to take some of the most worthless Marvel characters ever and put them all in Madame Webb deserves to be fired. The Venom movies at least offer some enjoyable action, because it’s Venom and Carnage, and Morbius at least had potential as a good movie. These characters are D grade, every one of them.
