It us sad that Disney has fallen to be a disaster and not the epitome of class.
The CEO and CFO have run the run all the Disney parks into hades. Refuse to stay in a location with the Waldfor price and Howard Johnson feel.
Walt and his ancestors are reeling and rolling over in their graves.
Disney has become “Just another park”.
More booze and less family.
Sad…
I had a horror story at the Dolphin as well. As an Elite Marriott Bonvoy member, I chose to stay at the Dolphin during a 3 night stay for Disney. We valeted our vehicle on the night of arrival and never left the property. When we turned our ticket in to retrieve our car, 30 minutes passes and no vehicle. We heard what sounded like our F150 truck alarm. We finally get someone to talk to us and they hand us a bag of fob parts – literally my key for was in 5 pieces and they handed it to me like nothing was wrong. They tried to put the blame on me, that they were going to check the cameras upon my arrival to see if I handed the fob in (in pieces). Maybe I look dumb, but I assure you, I am not. After making it known we were not leaving until the situation was resolved to my liking, they refunded my hotel stay and parking to pay for the key fob. They tried to offer me half off of the parking – the key fob itself is $300. I let Marriott know how awful Dolphin’s customer service was, but I never heard back from them. If they would have owned up to breaking the fob, and apologizing, I would have been ok. To try and cover it up and place the blame on me – 100% fail! I will not stay at the Dolphin again. I recently stayed at the Residence Inn on Flamingo Crossing and received excellent customer service.
