I was on a ferry returning to TTC one night that crashed into the dock. It was positioned correctly but the captain failed to slow the ferry down enough before coming into contact with the dock. It hurt my back. I have no idea if others were hurt as I was one of the first off the ferry. It was pretty bad. This sounds worse.
Funny that this article says crew members responded quickly. We didn’t see a single Disney worker check on the crying children that fell out of their strollers, nor did they check on our injured family member with an arm that immediately bruised and started swelling. When getting off the boat, we witnessed the Disney workers simply tell families looking for attention to stand to the side so as to not impede traffic unloading the boat. No announcements, apologies from Disney. Just get out of the way.
