I HATE these entertainments that originate simply cuz they want to sell toys!!!! The other Disney characters started out as just that – why can’t they focus on what they have? Disney has the Muppets, but they don’t know what to do with them!! Why couldn’t they bring back Bear in the Big Blue House if they wanted a bear? He’s a fully developed character already. And what happened to the Animators’ Collection? Those are such adorable variations on the characters!! We don’t need Duffy, a toy first who then evolved into a character.

They have lost their entire line of thinking. They lost their ability to remember and think like a child and child like in their feelings of joy. Thus for entertaining and pure fun. When you think of Mickey You think of Disney. You can not have one without the other. Same is true when. You think of these two you can not have the thought of excitement and fun. Our visit was anything but excitement and fun. Honestly, out stay at the Art of Anamation was the highlight of our time in Disney, They knocked it out of the park. 10 out of 10 for Art of Animation.

I don’t think it will go well in the U.S. Disney fans in the U.S. have already rejected Duffy, who looks like any other bear you could buy. It looks cheap and fake. It is a horrible idea. I worked for Walt Disney Productions for almost 20 years, knew Roy Disney quite well. To remove Mickey would destroy Walt’s dream & so many of us worked for years to keep his dream alive. This is not just a foolish idea, it is just plain stupid.
