Greedo shot first. Poor marksman. He missed han’s shoulder. Before shooting, he stated that he meant to turn han into jabba dead or alive. Clearly, self defense. Is this a campaign to sanitize for communist china?
First thing I ever noticed, and I don’t know why was in the chase thru the death star, in the first showing you clearly heard the troopers yelling close the blade doors, close the blast doors , then after Luke and crew getthrough asit closed, the troopers are banging on the wrong side yelling open the blast doors, about the 20th time I saw it like in 1978 the dialog was gone. ??
I don’t like that they changed some dialogue like vader saying originally bring my shuttle in empire after the battle with Luke instead they changed it with have my shuttle prepare for my arrival i don’t really like the no in jedi when vader throws the emperor down the shaft i rather vader don’t say nothing and just pick the emperor up and toss him i like that better
2. The weird Jabba scene in the corrupted Ep. IV is terrible. Lucas couldn’t even be bothered to update the dialogue, which is an almost word-for-word duplicate of Han’s scene with Greedo, in which, Han shot first.
Han shot first. Here’s the rub….Greedo is a trained killer, a killer who does it for money and life….he WILL NOT miss a 3 foot shot under a table to the torso by shooting over Han’s shoulder….a three year old could make that shot…changing it was absolutely ludicrous and insults the intelligence of anybody who watches the series….all for trying to not make Han, ultimately a hero, a cold blooded killer.
On that point, put yourself in Han’s situation….he’s at the table and knows that Greedo has a blaster pointed at him under the table …if he just sits there too long, he WILL be killed, Greedo essentially says so….him shooting first was just common sense….in the same situation you or I or anybody with a brain would have done the same thing…..self preservation….it was simple self defense….shame on you George Lucas.
