Smoking should be banned in ALL Disney parks. If a person can not go without lighting up, they are an “addict!” They should not force their bad behavior on anybody and take it somewhere where there are no other people. I have asthma and smoking near me triggers it. It is a health issue and should be treated seriously.

I, too, have asthma. I find it difficult to do grocery shopping or enjoy parks…or even be able to walk around my own neighborhood — all of which I have difficulty doing when smokers are there. I parked at a medical clinic; and had to hold my breath & cover my nose/mouth…just to get back to my own car! A group of smokers were smoking — while leaning against the wall that had a NO SMOKING sign.

  2. Seems to me there is an easy fix. Bring in armed security and remove the offender from the park. If necessary handcuffs will end any resistance. Period. If they are no longer there they cannot break the rules and bother other people. Problem solved.

There is a group of people that are unable to breathe Sol III’s (Earth’s) oxygenated atmosphere. They require the use of filtration sticks (or similar). In fact, they start to go crazy (as one would expect, when not able to breathe) after an hour or so.

If this were a drug (such as what an addict would use), there would be consequences. The lack of consequences for those who abuse drugs — on these individuals — stand to reason that those beings having difficulty with the oxygenated atmosphere MUST be the case.

Another observation I have noticed from the creatures with the “smoker” condition: They seem to have difficulty understanding words (or even symbols of communication). They have been found to use their filtration sticks in areas where it’s clearly listed they are not allowed to. Does this mean their lack of being able to breathe Earth’s oxygenated atmosphere also effects their comprehending/understanding? That is a possibility.

Humans that have to extract bodily fluids have a designated area where they do so. Yet, those who need to use a device/filtration stick — which expunges a toxic fume — don’t have such an area.

One has to wonder why Earth’s science can find cures for many conditions; yet not be able to find a cure for the “smoker” condition. Wouldn’t it be a priority to cure those with that condition — so they can breathe Earth’s atmosphere without a device/filtration stick that pollutes the oxygenated atmosphere, that most on the planet breathe?

Terrans of Sol III are so confusing.

I just had the notion that Disney might try putting some Security in early 1900s uniforms. Instead of firearms, they would taze any smoker disregarding the rules. Then, perhaps even banning them; it’s obvious that they disregard the Parks rules so what is to stop them from disregarding others? This might also fix the overcrowding problems…or not. Those who inpinge on the rules must be made to respect those rules or face the consequences of their extremely rude actions.
