Comments for Disney World Prepares for Activists to Storm the Magic Kingdom; In-Person Protests Suggested

Three people holding signs in front of a castle. Signs read: "Save Rivers of America," "Restore the Magic Kingdom," and "STOP Ruining the Magic." Clear blue sky in the background as speculative and hypothetical Save Rivers of America protests take place inside the Magic Kingdom.

Can you please explain why it is corporate greed for a company to want to update and modernize their product for their costumers? Your argument doesn’t make much sense to me.

You realize none of these “projects” are happening? The Rivers of America are never being removed and Disney has no right to remove them. No Cars is coming to Magic Kingdom ever and all things Pixar will be gone by 2035 or earlier due to Disney being broken up like Standard Oil was and having to remove all Pixar attractions to avoid billions in royalties to Pixar which will be an independent studio again. Disney will stop changing and has no business “modernizing.” Kids will get their parents and grandparents hand-me-downs and be stuck with parks that will be great again and frozen in the 20th century. Nothing wrong with staying the same or going backwards.

Cause they don’t care about people’s happiness or nostalgia. They only care about making money!!!! For example, Hard Rock International destroyed the Mirage and the volcano in Las Vegas, and people are very angry (including myself). A lot of people grew up going to the Mirage and watching the volcano (including me) and it makes people happy. That’s why corporate greed sucks!!!!!! 🤬🖕

I’m sorry you’re so upset but you failed to articulate your argument, it’s all based on childish emotions. So I am forced to conclude you either are a child or have a child mind, either way, you be well.

Companies should balance things out. Build new attractions AND keep the nostalgic ones!!!!!!

First of all these so called activists have to understand is these huge conglomerates have share holders that they are beholden to. Unless you own Disney stock your opinion holds little weight. Also what is called corporate greed by some is actually good business sense, ’cause any one that says they’re in business not for the money is either a fool or a liar.

Disney should not have stockholders at all and won’t when I take over and gain that magical 51% of the shares. It will also no longer be a conglomerate because it’s getting broken up like Standard Oil and losing everything that was acquired so that means the end of Disney owning Marvel, Lucasfilm, Pixar, etc. Walt himself was a fool by your standards because he was not in it for money and neither will I. I will be Owner of Disney as if it were a sports team and any remaining shareholders will be powerless and beholden to one man who doesn’t answer to anyone but Walt himself and I will bring back the “What would Walt do?” philosophy that ran Disney after his passing. Everything I say is true and will come to pass. The ROA and the riverboat are never being removed.

      1. It has come to the point that the old guard of WDW and DL is gone.
The bad thing is that the New Guard is wanting to put their thumb print on and leave their legesy on Disney World.
Rivers of America and Tom Sayer Island should never go away.
Walts Dream is slowly dying by being erased.
        BRING JIE BACK!

Cars attraction does not belong in Frontierland. They never had “Cars” in the American Frontier when horses were all the horsepower needed. Cars belong in another area of the park just for looks.

Put in a New Frontierland attraction related to the these area of Walt Disney World.
