I fully agree with you. 40+ square miles with only 8% developed. The space is there but, the ‘leadership’ is not. It been 27 years since the last park was built in WDW.
WDW needs two new parks. A new theme park (drop all the new ideas and IP here) and a world class water park.
Iger is not looking to EXPAND parks he is looking to destroy current IP and replace it with crap. This man has overseen the destruction of the Disney brand. The problem is that the company is run by east and west coast mentally ill egotistical elites.
Walt Disney bought 27,500 acres of land, his Dream was that Disney World would have planty of land to expland and never run out of Dreams. But Iger took care of that what a coward he is !!!!!!!!.

They MUST build a new park at Disney World. They can build all their new stuff there and leave the good stuff and the classics alone!!!!!!!

In plain English. No we can’t build any new parks because being woke ate up all the money we needed to build another park.
