My suspicion is it is a medical issue. The DAS used to be available for guests who had frequent bathroom needs for medical issues. Disney’s new stance is that you should find the nearest cast member when leaving the queue so you can rejoin it after you are done. The problem is if you are needing to rush off to the bathroom, you don’t necessarily have time to find the nearest cast member and on this particular attraction fighting your way out of the crowd could be difficult to begin with. I have maintained this was going to be an issue for a while.
Maybe, just Maybe theme parks aren’t for some people. Waiting in line is the norm at theme parks. Stop acting like you’re special and deserve something more because you have a disability. By definition, that’s retarded.
As the mom of a child with a birth defect that affects bathrooming I am disgusted that Disney changed their policy. The group I belong to with children with similar issues cannot fathom why this change occurred. If there is not a bathroom near EVERY ride then people with documented incontinence should be allowed to get a pass.
