I grew up with Rambo, Blood Sport, Terminator and Die Hard just to name a few. We didn’t know what a “trigger warning” was then and we don’t need them now.

This movie should’ve come with these warnings: “May destroy your childhood”. “Dwarves may give you nightmares”. “Zegler’s singing may ruin your ears”.

Warning: “A woman (Snow Brown) is deliberately poisoned”

    The audience: Yaaaayyyyyy!!!!

I heard from someone that saw it.

Only six other audience members in the theater. This was for the 5-something pm showing. When arriving, no one else had seen it prior. Upon leaving, no one else was waiting to see it.

It was described as worse than t me Haley Bailey Little Mermaid. The dwarves (except Doc) were major nightmare fuel. Zegler’s singing was decent. Snow Woke barely had much to do with the original story nor Walt’s classic masterpiece.

From what I was told, there was not prince; but a thief. The thief got locked in a dungeon — and Snow Woke led an army to rescue him. By the way…apparently only one, single snowflake (in Spring) caused Snow Woke to lead her army of townspeople.

The trigger warning should read: “You will get very angry after having wasted any money to watch his [censored]”

Please don’t make the audience angry, Disney. You wouldn’t like it if they got angry.

      agreed!

We had plans to go view the Snow Woke, but with comments like that of Zegler towards the Prince and Trump Supporters who needs the aggravation.

maybe these trigger warnings are why the largest theater in Houston has amazing prime seats still available.

to say it another way, no one has booked seats for this movie. and by no one, I mean there’s 5 showings a day, and maybe 7 seats on average are already booked.

never mind the Rotten Tomatoes score. yikes.

at least the critic from Variety magazine liked it.

The audience score on Rotten Tomatoes is not so “yikes.” As of Sunday morning, it was 74%, so moviegoers generally seem to like it better than critics do.

To be deemed Rotten on the review aggregator website, a movie needs to have a score lower than 60%. Currently, Snow White has a 42% on Rotten Tomatoes, which ties it with the lowest-rated movie of Zegler’s career. In addition to Snow White, Zegler’s two films from 2024 also have Rotten scores.25 mins ago

I know how Rotten Tomatoes works. My point still stands, which is that the audience score continues to be better than the critics score.

I saw it last night at a theater here in New Jersey. The 6:45pm showing was 80% full. It seemed to go over well. There was even applause at the end. I liked the new songs more than I thought I would. I thought the dwarfs looked fine, even though Dopey reminded me of Alfred E. Neuman from Mad Magazine. Gal Gadot was merely serviceable in her role, to be honest – not a standout performance – but her singing was decent for the one song she was given.

We are going to wait for Disney +. This movie is proof that Bob Iger’s retirement is long over due.

      likewise, agreed.

We saw movie last week. 8 people we enjoyed movie. Mus8c was very good. Message at end from Snow white was touching. She touched on helping people who are need. Share your crops. Some people don’t want to help others. One thing we didn’t think highly of was dwarfs could have been real, not animated

I guess it’s snowing more in the UK as they encourage people to become snowflakes. I vote for warnings to be placed out their homes – Warning: stepping outside your home could be dangerous. Proceed with serious caution!

So this is what our society has become. Pretty sad.

Honestly all the “excess drama” made my husband and I decide to ignore the lofty opinions of others and go see the doggone movie. It was delightful…great vocals, wonderfully excessive woodland creatures and a story that ended with good winning out. 👍👍👍for us. The credits that rolled and rolled at the end were astounding in numbers! I would much rather see this type of movie than the R rated trash being produced.

I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. All the “woke” crap was just that! I think they could have used real people for the dwarves, but otherwise a good movie. The story line was different from the animated one but it was welcomed because the ending was better than the original.
