If you’re targeting that young kid demographic for the discount, you can’t leave MK out of the deal! Makes ZERO sense. That’s exactly where 3-9 year olds want to go. If I was a suspicious person (I am), I would say they know this and expect after ponying up on this deal, they’ll add on a full-price ticket to MK b/c a lot of kids will be upset they can’t go there too. It also kinda stinks for the parents whose kids grow to the ripe old age of 10 and can’t get any deal…

Discounts the busiest times of the year so they know people will be standing online more than riding and enjoying plus not include magic kingdom. Not cool Disney

It is surely a positive step to give discounts to others than Florida residents and those going to Disneyland. Also, with so much of the parks/rides closed, discounted tickets make the parks more economically feasible. With WDW offering the 1st day of reservations to go to a water park, is a great way to wait for your room to be ready. Being this is causing the current water park to be overcrowded, hopefully WDW will have both water parks open & guests be given a choice.

This doesn’t work out for DVC members who have children over 9. You don’t get options for free dining, and the children are too old to get discounted tickets.

They always introduce these “great” discounts for the absolute hottest part of the year in Florida when we’re in the 90’s. It’s not pleasant at all and you have to take breaks often or you’ll get ill from heat stroke.

This is in response to Epic Universe opening. It’s going to blow Disney out of the water from what I have seen so far. And someone else had mentioned the fact that since MK is not included, and that is where most of the kids want to go, they’ll probably up charge for a separate ticket for that.

UNIVERSAL EPIC is making wdw scared.
As you enjoy these discounts, thank universal resort.

Um..why did they leave MK out? Because they know parents will pay for that experience. While I appreciate the offer of summer thats usually not the only time people go. They also spend a lot to go for the holiday parties. My older 2 have gone and we usually go in Dec. I grew up going to WDW in July. They should add all year and add MK for a discount. People spend there and in all their stores on the park and downtown(springs) Disney stores.

How can they not include Magic Kingdom???
That’s where people want to go.

Disney has to stop discriminating against non Florida residents. They don’t exclude the Magic Kingdom for resident offers. How about treating all Americans the same?????? Give the same discount to all Americans, or not at all.

    1. We Floridians support the parks during their least busy months as well as all year around, so it makes sense to support the frequent parkgoers.

I live in illinois we usually went 3 time a year on a $400 annual pass, but not any more, if we could get FL price we would be there also!

You nailed the problem, we’re stay on our DVC points and will probably be going to Universal

Like this makes any sense at all?
First: Staying in a Disney resort costs at least twice as much as off site so you could feed me all day and it’s still cheaper off site.
Second: I agree leaving the magic kingdom out is stupid and only a way to get the discount back they just gave you.
Third: There’s a family discount but no senior discount? There are rides some seniors won’t ride and considering the size of the park most seniors will ride less attractions? So less entertainment should warrant less price of admission.
Fourth: Nothing Disney can do will outweigh the “woke” world they’ve created. I proposed to my wife inside Cinderella’s castle with Cinderella as our witness. As much as this meant to us our next trip to Florida will be Universal studios rather than Disney because over all it’s less expensive and it’s a different atmosphere!

Man I never knew John Wayne was such a cry baby, stop being a B

  11. Dale Clark

Not very tempted to me still over priced for any average family and no MK most popular park to visit

Why isn’t the dining plan ever included for those of us who are vacation club members and pay the exhorbitant fee each and every month? Kids and Magic Kingdom go together!!! Put it on the list.

  13. Marie

So let me guess. People who have no kids or have kids but doesn’t fit the demographic, will be paying higher prices to off set all of this.

You know I think for some of you nothing in this world would make you happy and you’d find a way to complain about a sunny day…probably try to link the evil mouse to causing skin cancer or something. Get a life.

I was going to say the same thing! Disney offers park discounts: “that’s not good enough.” They offer the free dining plan: “that’s not a good deal.” They offer room discounts: “how dare they not include the tickets.”
Just shut up already. Everyone said it was too expensive so they offer deals and now those aren’t good enough. If you’re not happy with it, don’t go. Goodness gracious these people are picky. I agree with you, and there are some people that are never happy unless they’re griping about something.
