As a DVC member and a Disney Shareholder, I do agree with some of what was said about this new DVC center at the Canada Pavilion. There is a DVC lounge not far from this location. I think this center is unnecessary. We members are already having difficulty in reserving units. I agree that advertising for DVC should be kept out of the Pavilion. I wonder if it because of Trump/Canada issues. Many countries are having issues with Trump. Does that mean Disney is going to change every land in the World Showcase?

I don’t see how the analysis went down the toilet when no false statements were made. “Many countries are having issues with Trump” is a factual statement, not an opinion.
Given the strained relationship between Canada and USA at the moment, I think reopening some of the quaint little stores would be better use of the space. DVC members have already purchased and don’t really need a tour of the new Polynesian rooms. Non DVC members have ample opportunity to visit a sales location at the hundreds of locations throughout the 47 square miles of WDW without the need to invade the park space as well.
Except, Canada doesn’t have any issues with USA. Just the orange felon and his minions. I don’t blame them. Even the guy in charge of USA — with his Tesla company taking so many hits — is considered not worthy of continuing his Canadian citizenship (that he got through this mother).
Meanwhile, anyone NOT connected with Trump seem to be fine in Canada’s eyes.

If we are not DVC members we get nothing special. I have been an annual pass holder since the beginning and I think DVC should not get more than we do.
This could have been set up to change over 6 months ago before Trump was President. This is between Disney and Canada and DVC. What going to be next put one in every bathroom property LOL.
I think the trend of Disney’s caste division is stupid on their part.
As far as Canada space being used, it could be because it’s available and easier/cheaper to transform. It could also be that they’re targeting Canada with their DVC campaign.
