I’m all for it. Seeing a female CEO head up Disney would be wonderful, especially if her appointment is based on merit. Haters can get over it, or else come to this website to do their usual whining.
Get someone in there who isn’t doing all this pro woke and LBGABC crap. Disneyland is a dump. I grew up near there and went many times in my youth. I will NOT be taking my grandkids there so they can see some CINDERFELLA in the shops.
Disney needs new blood, not a Bob Iger clone in a skirt. Disney needs someone committed to Walt’s vision, and in possession of an artistic skill set or minus the ego necessary to hire a COO with the artistic skills to make sure new creative releases are great stories, entertainly told, and with the vision and skills to guide the Imagineers to update and repair the parks, and the Design teams to recommit Disney to detailed themed resorts. Woke is out, cheap is out, boring is out. Sorry Josh.
I’ve been saying it for a long time, and I’ll say it again…Josh D’Amaro, Josh D’Amaro, Josh D’Amaro. I don’t have knowledge of what happens behind the scenes, but I now what I see and I see that he is constantly at the parks, attending all the Expos and events like that, and making his presence known. Like Walt.
As a business owner myself, outwardly, any political associations can only wreck a business. No one should have to go anywhere and have ways of living that you don’t agree with shoved down your throats. With that being said, that whomever would be the new CEO should run things as a business like Walt did too entertain the public and not cater to anyone group. Male or female, any job should be gotten on merit and their ability to handle that job and anything that comes with it.
I can peacefully coexist with ANY holiday events, but Linda is the one who stated that people should be able to visit places without having to endure “ways of living that you don’t agree with shoved down your throats.” I guess that means we should protect people who don’t celebrate Christmas by removing any reminders of that specific way of living. If you’re gonna commit to that mindset, don’t be half-assed about it.

Not a chance. I’m looking forward to D’Amaro being arrested and hauled off to prison for his mob ties as he screams that he’s being framed.

Disney skip her!!! Haven’t you learned your lesson yet?

So we should get rid of all Christmas events then, right?

“we should get rid of all Christmas events”
I’m not sure what you have against Christmas.

You make very valid points. And I’m NOT a business owner.
