WDW’s last real footprint expansion was in April 1998 with the opening of a new gate/Animal Kingdom.

With only about 8% of WDW land developed there is room for all the new ideas in new parks yet to be built. The headquarters of Disney should be in Orlando vs Burbank.

Today, I go to WDW for nostalgia but, I go to Universal Orlando to be entertained at a higher level without the feeling of being fleeced.

Disney has nothing to worry about people won’t leave Disney, universal is not issuing season passes to epic the first year at all. It is one day ticket per ticket only. So Disney will be safe till season passes get issued so in a few years. So Disney needs some new parks not just expansions on old parks. I will say universal passes are way better than Disney, universal never nickel and dimes you. Disney is heart breaking you pay for a pass and still have to keep paying once in the park. I enjoy that universal gives you discounts everywhere Disney gives you nothing only Disney springs area which is sad. Plus universal gives you the pass option with the express pass after 4pm so you are guaranteed to ride a ride without having to pay extra like Disney.

Disney haslost it’s magic, broken rides, ar3eas shut down loss of crowd controls, lines longer than most interstates. I long for the old disney the onw where we visited from 71 on, spent thousands on vaca’s, Rode a monorail to a future epcot only to see monitors describing the future. Used to be Imagineering could produce in just days while now disney will remodel for months at a time, confusing guests, selling their souls to gate closing crowds. Uni. on the other hand seems to have the controls and ability to keep things smooth. hmmm imagine that. Last time we went we were in line for toy story for over 2 hours, 2 hours at a fee of 120 a day to stand in a line for 2 hours, well no thanks.

    Go Universal!
Only way Disney ups their game, is for Universal to get them directly where it will hurt. Take profits away!
