Sorry, but even for us, who love Disney, it is out of hand, even with the so called offers. There are plenty of other places that are good to go to and be able to make memories for a small fraction of the price.

Only the filthy rich can go to Disney now. No worries, if I want to enjoy Disney I’ll go watch a classic Walt movie.

We are going to Ireland this year for much less than our usual trip to DisneyWorld. We went every year since 2008. Not worth the $ anymore.

We will all sleep better knowing that. Thank you

Tim, glad to know that I gave you a good nights sleep. Sorry you are so snarky.

When upper management stops taking million dollar raises, maybe then the cost of a Disney vacation will become much more affordable

The Magic is gone! Sad! They have out priced themselves. I totally agree with you! Walt would not approve

  4. Truly it would be much easier to accept if they had left the inclusives as inclusives and just raised the ticket price. People hate to feel nickel and dimed. By removing the airport travel, fastpass and others from the ticket and into a new cost, nickel and dimed is exactly what it is. This is the new travel economy. Airlines, Hotels, Las Vegas in general have all taken to the added fees style.

“Disney contends that a family of four could still enjoy a vacation for as little as $3,026 before food and transportation costs”

Should I compare that to the price for a family of four at other theme parks?

Hey Dan, how’s that ’tism today?

The other thing they fail to look at or acknowledge is the value of the cost. Along with the prices increasing steadily since 2019, the level of service provided has decreased. Along with what services are provided. Look at the parks for the last 5 years, especially with Disney World, how many things went away with covid restrictions that never returned… Go to the parks at any given time and how many attractions are closed or areas walled off for refurbishment.. You not only are paying more for the Disney experience, you get less experience for what you pay.

Best way to get their attention is to hit them in their pockets. Don’t go.

I loved it until these goons started their outrageous price hike sprees. They’ve lost me. I also recognize they need to keep up with the times and add new atttractions to interest younger ones. But their simultaneously demolishing of the older attractions which many older ones remember fondly and were interested in is another reason Disney parks are one big yawn for me.
