Big mistake! I bought into DVC years ago but I’m so disappointed the season pass for DVC members has doubled within the last few years! We should be the most valuable group to Disney! Even over Florida residents because we’ve bought in to 50 year contracts! I did not renew my family’s pass this year because of the price.
All Disney cares about is money, money, money. Only the filthy rich can afford their crappy theme parks. I know my family could never go there in a million years, not that we want to. Too corrupt and dangerous.
Nope….as he is totally right….it stems from when Roy Disney’s granddaughter took charge of the Disney business….She is shaming all the now gone Disney founders….Hope she gets visited by The ghosts of Walt Disney….She had been a most destructive leftist , to the business….And many of the old Disney fans…It is adding up , to much distaste for what Disney tries to sell everyone…
I grew up in LA during the 60’s and visited the new park Disneyland as a youngster in 1955, we had annual family trips to Disneyland for years, and introduced our children to the park in the early 1980’s. Regrettably this is not carried on by our children for our grandchildren. Disney’s move to embrace radical left wing politics to become a typical left wing organization pandering to the super rich and excluding the middle class that built it is creating a house of cards that will eventually collapse.
Only way to ever control Disney prices is to not purchase the services or eat in Disney if you complain about the high costs. Your only playing up to Disney by paying their extorted prices. The exorbiant Lighting Lane prices sell out so this tells Disney to raise them even higher. Either start thinking or shut up and pay what they demand.
We’re done. We could never have as good a vacation there as we did for yrs. Went every 5 yrs or so from the 80s until 2018.
They took away fast passes, extra magic hrs for All Star Resorts, raised ticket and hotel prices, etc.
We will take our family elsewhere.
I’ve been to both (alternating between) Disneyland AND Disney World. September 2013, June 2018, September 2023, & February 2025. I’ve seen them difference in how Disney was run BEFORE 2020 and AFTER. I’ve seen staff & guest behaviors decline.
Since may February 2025 trip hasn’t happened yet, I can’t say for certain. However, I asked that the ones hosting NOT WASTE THEIR MONEY on “extras”…when it came to me.
Let the wealthy push & shove and force why THEY (each rich person) is more important than the others in that exact same LL during “after hours”. Meanwhile, with half the price (of what THEY will pay) being spent on me, I will still be able to have fun. No LL for me. No “after hours”, either.
Corporate greed (especially since the bulk of that greed is to make up the difference after Snow Woke cost them) is not something I’m willing to support them on.
Disney is/has been creating a caste system under Bobby I.
Do they care?
No! And it will continue as long as people keep spending money for their product.
However, complaining on social media sites does absolutely nothing for Disney to change their ways. Changes will only be made when the voices are heard on their website only. Make your voice heard there and know the power of the force!!!
