The Muppet Christmas Carol is our families very favorite. We have seen them all and read all the stories and never do we fail to share this version of the story ever Christmas!! We love it!! We owns several copies!!
My family watches the extended version every year. This is how the film was intended to be seen. The song Where love is gone was removed as they thought it slowed down the film but it needs to be seen as it gives a better look as to why Scrooge is the way he is at this point. The DVD release ( in full screen not wide screen) has this song in it. Just my opinion. Love the Muppets.
