According to an eyewitness report, the incident occurred around 11:15 p.m. as guests were boarding the trams to leave the park.
The eyewitness, who shared their account online, described how Disneyland security stopped a tram from departing while awaiting police intervention. “We were leaving Disneyland last night around 11:15 PM and watched a bunch of security team members stop a tram from leaving. I overheard one CM say to another that they were waiting for the police to arrive because a guy on that tram had assaulted a CM,” they reported.
The stopped tram, which was full of guests, remained stationary for an extended period as security managed the situation. The eyewitness noted that even after switching lines, waiting in the crowd for another tram, and departing, the original tram was still at a standstill.

Frustration for Cast Members and Guests
The report highlights the ripple effect of the incident—not only on the CM involved but also on other employees and park visitors. “It makes me upset to think that people have so little emotional control that they lash out at CMs! All they’re trying to do is make your day better & do their job,” the guest expressed.

The eyewitness continued, “This guy was a jerk and not only was a CM harmed, a bunch of others have to deal with him, and park attendees are stuck watching police escort someone away at 11:30 PM after what I’m sure was a long day.”
