Dolly Parton is looking for new smiling faces to staff her beloved Tennessee theme park, Dollywood.

Dollywood has been a staple in the Pigeon Forge area for nearly 40 years. Christmastime is one of the park’s busiest seasons, as guests flock to enjoy exclusive festive entertainment offerings, decorations, and seasonal treats.

Last month, frustrated guests shared their experiences on social media after getting locked out of Dollywood during Thanksgiving week. Smoky Mountain travelers saw hours-long wait times just to get into the parking lot during the holiday crowd meltdown. Some social media users slammed the theme park and other Tennessee destinations for creating chaos during the busiest time of the year.

Weeks after the holiday crowd rush and as it prepares to celebrate its 40th anniversary, Dollywood announced plans to hold a hiring fair for 2025. According to WVLT8the theme park plans to have an “abundant” number of available positions posted on its website by December 30, 2024.
