Well, that would a new experience for a lot of people, just not what you’d expect down here in Florida. But cool, and cold.

I live 10 miles from Disney. Temps forecasted in the 40’s this week. 5-10% chance of precipitation. This is like saying, if a dinosaur comes to central Florida, it’ll be the first time in 100 million years. It’s just not going to happen. Dumb.

I remember January 1977 when we got a 1/2″ of snow. It shut down school and everything.
We had to make up one school day later in the year since 180 days of attendance was required to complete the school year.
We had roving brown outs since the heat was electric instead of gas. This can happen about once every twenty-five years in Central Florida. It will be interesting if this happens this January due to computers, cell phones, and virtual school.
Walt Disney World is in a unique position to help in very cold weather due to the fact they have their own power via Reedy Creek. The park might or might not have to close based upon this ownership of electricity and other utilities.

We go to marathon weekend every year. It has been colder than this an no parks closed races went on in 20 degree weather. People don’t let thus panic you.
