I think that is Karen really wanted to take her kids to Disney then she would have planed it months in advance. When I was living in Florida my family and I would go to WDW a lot. We would start planing the trips at least 6 months in advance. Especially now and days. Some of the restaurants at WDW start taking reservations about 1 year in advance. So, you’ll be beyond lucky if you get to WDW and there has been a cancelation for the stake restaurant in the Canadian Pavillon in Epcot. That happened to us once. We tried to make reservations 6 months in advance and there was no room left. But, when we got to the hotel (Port Orleans Riverside) we asked if they can check to see if there was any cancelation for that restaurant and there was. We took it. I’m on Evie’s side. She planned months in advance so, she should get the time off. While Karen didn’t think about planning in advance or asking her boss for that specific time off.

Definitely on Evie’s side here. She had her time planned well in advance of the holidays, and Karen should have done the same – no excuse!!
