Disney and Disney Parks lost their magic when corporate greed won out over customer satisfaction. That’s why as much as I wanted to relive the remembered magic of my childhood visits to Disneyland one more time before I die, I never will, because the magic is gone. It really died with Walt, whom I believe would be spinning in his grave over what has been done to his legacy in the name of greed and profit. Sadly, I am no longer a fan of Disney. 🥺

What corporate greed did to Las Vegas is equally bad

You’re right. And Vegas has such a unique history that should have been preserved. I was there as a child and thought it was pretty cool. It was still old Las Vegas (and Elvis was headlining….). I have no interest to go today.

Just visited Vegas a few months ago. Hard Rock destroyed the Mirage and the volcano and they are going to build a giant guitar where the volcano is. It was so sad. I visited Mirage years ago and it was so beautiful 🙁

Went from Dec 2-7, it was awesome except for the Guardians malfunction.

Come on. Airports are crowded. Disney parks are crowded, especially during the holidays. If you can’t stand crowds, you should go for a hike or stay home.

Most people tend to seek out the bad and say that there are some places they will never go to. That’s fine, but don’t create negativity for others who have never experienced it for themselves. Be your own judge and keep the judgement to your own small circle. It doesn’t matter if it’s Disney World or Las Vegas or California or any other place. Let people be the judge and jury of their own experience. If it left a sour taste in your memory, then keep it to yourself, nobody wants to hear you whine and complain.

We visited Disney World last year. It was overly crowded and not very enjoyable.Disney should lower the amount of people allowed in the park per day. Make it where you don’t have to wait in lines for hours to ride. It also wouldn’t hurt if they would lower their prices. They should make it where Disney World can be enjoyed by all families, regardless of their income. The Disney World today is all about the money. It’s really sad.

Wow, please tell me you are 12 and not an adult, you sound very….how do I put this politely…

Again, Stupid comment. Disney was once a magical place and wondrous to bring your children. No more. Corporate greed has taken over and it warrants calling them out. Nowhere near the same place. Stop shaming people for acknowledging that.

You sound as intelligent as that Deb person. Maybe you two should go to couples therapy together and then maybe night school to get your GEDs.

    2. Yes, A visit to any Disney park is expensive. But how do you think they are able to maintain their quality and hire the best people yo create thst environment. Yes it is crowded. And during and after the civid epidemic access was limited, but they still have bills to pay. The annual payroll for Disney World alone is in the tens of billions. ( that’s what happens when everything is kept in America and not farmed to other nations.)
It would be wonderful to find a way for less fortunate families to visit a magic kingdom, but again, bills need to be paid.

It’s the holidays so it’s going to be crowded. We went to Disney World during the holidays. Nope not again. I guess you can say once you experience Disneyland at Christmas, Disney world is just OK. I didn’t see the Christmas magic at DW like DL. It’s just not decorated like DL. I was surprised how rude the employees are at DW. It was a big disappointment! Thank goodness DL is only 20 minutes from me!

I didn’t got to DW during a holiday, but I have now been to both DL & DW. I have zero desire to ever go back to DW. From the very unhelpful hotel staff, shuttle drivers to the actual park staff, not 1 person was, nice, cheerful or welcoming. So much for the happiest place on earth. We honestly don’t even remember anyone in our 3 days smiling at us. I am sticking with DL, at least there employees act like they friendly and happy. Having been to DL 5+ times then going to DW, the difference in atmosphere was shocking. Leaving at Orlando Airport was just like any other crowded airport, to be expected – except- the Disney gifts I bought on the way to the airport, packed inside my check in at the very top last minute – all stolen from my bag. Filed a theft / loss report with Delta and the airport, crickets. $650 gone. The bag was packed with the stuff at rental car return and then checked, no possible way other than airport/airlines staff stealing it. Hard pass on the whole DW experience.

Orlando airport is absolutely the worst. I travel quite a bit and will pay more and take connecting flights to keep from flying out of Orlando. Tampa Airport is amazing!!
