The lounge idea does sound nice. Now, I would hope that they make it relatable to Spaceship Earth. Make it an extension of the ride. Maybe have pictures of things that were/are/can/will be used in the future as means of communication. And, maybe have pictures/items/merch that’s related to space. It’ll be cool to see scenes from t.v shows like Star Trek the Next Generation there (does anyone know if Disney owns the rights to this show?). I would love to see that.

I believe Star Trek is owned by Paramount.
But I agree it would good to be seen there.

And the cost will be…..? Have a feeling it will be too pricey for most families.

I agree completely! One more place for those with $$$$ to have views the rest of us can only wonder about.

Legacy? EPCOT was all about learning about tomorrow as industry leaders envisioned the possibilities. Now it’s about yesterday/legacy. I’m not sold. I would have been more impressed if WDW pulled in new leading-edge sponsors and have them re-envision the possibilities of tomorrow. SpaceX, Cisco, Apple, Medtronic, etc. whoever is top of field. I miss the spirit of how it was but, it needed to constantly evolve every decade or so looking further into the future vis the sponsors vision of what could be. One example, in 1988 and seeing AT&T present a video phone that EPCOT guest could use. At the time it seemed far out. Today this means of communication is common place and no big deal.

A lounge is not an addition. The horizons building is now a lounge and left as it was, still more entertaining than most of future world.

Is this for annual pass holders only. ? I’m confused.

Knowing how Bob Igor had promised to bring prices down so that average families could afford Disney again and, instead, raised all the prices, I expect this lounge to be priced for the well-off people……Walt Disney would be disgusted in the present day Disney World under Igor’s reign.
