Kermit the Frog stands in the foreground of an ornate theater with a black-and-white Muppet*Vision scene playing on the big screen behind him. He appears thoughtful with his hand to his chin. The theater is empty and elaborately decorated.

A little late to the table with Monster’s Inc so no excitement there.

Kids can’t go on Rock-n-Roller Coaster so Disney is robbing them of the experience.

If Disney can re-imagine Muppets 3-D to accompany the roller coaster for a new Muppets land it would be a win-win for all.

Muppet Vision isn’t closing and there is no Monsters Inc coming. Rock N Roller Coaster isn’t changing either and will remain Aerosmith themed for always and eternity.

      1. Where have you been. It’s already a done deal

        1. Steve

No it’s not. It’s a hoax. I have a time machine and am speaking from 2067. Everything I say is true. All things Marvel, Pixar, and Star Wars will be gone by the 75th in 2046 due to the breakup of the Walt Disney Company under antitrust. Disney is going to shrink back to its pre-1996 size.

    2. I will say it in your words since you think it’s a little too late for Monsters inc. The Muppets are at least three times older than monsters. The Muppets were lucky to have survived this long

      1. Marie

Actually, I don’t know what keeps Monsters going. The Muppets are far superior to Monsters and always have been. Monsters is cute….but that’s it. In fact, while you still see Muppets in stores, the only place you see Monsters is at the Parks. In fact, I found my Mike and Sully in a dumpster at a storage facility. 😂😂😂

Muppets hit all ages from kids to adults.

Not happy😡😡😡 because that was going to be my stop this year

    1. I guess you can make a new stop at one of Disney’s 70 rides and attractions

    2. Frank

Depending on when, you might do better at Epic Universe which is building rather than removing. Everything has its cycles.

I enjoy the 3D show as is but, not against Disney putting money into it and refreshing the show… maybe give a few different show outcomes/stories.

I also enjoy the Rock N Roller coaster. This is another one they could put a little Gardians of the Galaxy technology touch on it but, keep the theme the same.

The Cars ride going in at Magic Kingdom would be a better fit at Hollywood Studios or at a new 5th gate/park.

    1. Steve

There is no Cars ride coming to Magic Kingdom and never will be one.

  4. Jared

Move it to the cars location next to Rockin roller coaster

Sold 95 percent stock , have no intention of getting more Disney timeshare, and have not had ap for two years after 35 consecutive ap. Have not been to Disney for three years, waiting to see what other idiotic ideas they come up then will decide about Disney and me

  6. It is time for change. I think the Muppets will make the roller coaster fun it in. Aerosmith is not needed at all. They have no appeal to the young people. They are a tired old band and not even one of the good tired old bands. Disney has so many IPS. I don’t know why they would pay for Aerosmith. That band is not bringing anybody in to the park. We should have got rid of Aerosmith about 10 years ago.

    1. Steve

Wrong. Aerosmith is timeless and appeals to everyone and who cares if they don’t? Nothing is outdated. Disney is about to lose all of its acquired IP due to antitrust so that means bye bye Marvel, Star Wars, and Pixar to avoid the royalties they will owe those once again independent studios. No one will miss them in the parks. Disney will be great again

  7. Muppet Vision 3D was no longer needed. There was not one time I went there in years and that theater was full. You could just walk in and sit down. People were even tired of watching the pre-show. The only thing good about it was it was a cool place to sit and relax for a few minutes

    1. None of you supported it and now you all want to cry

  8. And to all of you that say you’re never going back because of this losing multivision. I say liar. You just need something to complain about. And if you don’t come back it is good. There’s five people waiting to take your place. Guess what? It’s Disney’s park they can do what they want. That might not make you happy but it will make many other people happy

    1. Steve

No. There is no one who will replace the real Disney fans and purists. There are plenty of real fans and purists who will take your place when Disney is broken up and Marvel, Star Wars, and Pixar leave the parks. Purists are the only guests who matter and when I take over Disney and make it great again, the parks will cater to purists only and all my decisions will be made based on the question “What would Walt do?” just as was the case for decades after his passing. I will treat the parks as private members only clubs.

      1. Marie

Stock holder here. When will you be taking over, PLEASE…. I haven’t been to Disney since 2019 and have been going literally from when they opened. My parents got us resident annual passes as soon as they were available. Now…..? Sad as to what it’s become.

There are many “Save Muppet Vision 3D” & “Bring back Muppet Vision 3D” petitions on Change.org (if anyone is interested).

WORST decision – shutdown Muppets 3D (rumor is maybe it will head over to where the Animation building used to be). IMMENSELY WORST decision – make Rock n Roller Coaster a Muppets themed ride. Dr. Teeth? No thank you. Animal is their only member worth watching but NOT on a roller coaster. Let’s rock out to what? “Rainbow Connection?” “It’s Not Easy Being Green?” NO. As Twisted Sister would say – “I wanna rock!” Aerosmith may be retiring, BUT their music isn’t. If not them, do like it is in Guardians – play varying ROCK music songs. It’s a roller coaster that is… must I say it? ROCK. The Muppet DON’T rock. Pre-teen, teens and adults primarily ride this ride… NOT small children. We want rock music blasting as we fly through this track… NOT Muppet music. You are now driving my kids over to Universal, Josh D’Amaro & Disney execs. They want thrills and music and you will no longer be providing it on the ROCK and Roller Coaster. Do ANY of you have pre-teens or teenagers? I think not. Do you have young children who can’t wait to be tall enough for this right of passage? Not likely. Leave the coaster to rock and rollers and NOT Muppets.

  11. AB

Had no desire to ride that coaster due to long lines, but might just to see how they did with the Muppets theme.

I’ve been waiting for them to be creative and expand the Muppets into a land somewhere. It’d be so easy as they literally provide their own creative possibilities. But, here we are with just a themed roller coaster. Are they hiring less than a creative team of imagineers?

Quite frankly, if done right, a good team could raise the phoenix of nearly ANY solid classic that engages all ages and generate excitement AND solid revenue.

Sign of the times of mediocrity and lack of original ideas.
