Making money is better than not making money. What Disney really needs is a senior leadership team that can deliver the financial results, deliver top quality in-demand new creative programs and projects, and get the heck out of politics and return to family entertainment. No one person has been able to do it all. Disney’s best teams have been Walt and Roy, and Mike Eisner and Frank Wells. Iger can not do it all. Iger doesn’t have the talent. I am counting down Iger’s retirement in hopes that Disney hires a top level finance guru and a top level creative and entertainment guru, and recreate that split role leadership that worked so well in the past; their golden age periods.
