We were part of the group that kept being pushed back and pushed back to ultimately receive a message at 8:30 pm that we couldn’t be accommodated. We entered the queue at 7:00 am. Huge disappointment.

Hope you find the strength to carry on. Tis tragic indeed.

Things break down! Sounds like they are trying the best they can. Geez….end of the world!!

12/3 my original boarding time was nearly 1 pm, kept getting pushed back, finally entered queue at 5 pm, ended waiting 2 hours until
It broke down and the entire queue had to leave.

      Very disappointing indeed.

My group got pushed back from around 1 pm-5 pm and when it was my turn to enter I waited 2+ hours because they kicked everyone out at around 7 pm. That was Tuesday evening.

I have been at EPCOT when Ratatouille opened. We were actually on the ride and it broke down on us right as it started. We all had to be escorted off the ride and out of the back entrance. It sucks when it happens for sure. It was a very neat experience walking through the ride while it wasn’t operating though.

Got stuck and evacuated off ratatouille a few weeks back..got lighting lane pass..then used it for mickey minnie runaway the next day and that broke down while we were on line…oh well it happens!

Should have just updated Ellen’s Energy Adventure – i went on that complicated 40! min dark ride/show tons of times & it never broke down . & hardly any wait either.
Bring back the dinosaurs – to Epcot!

I had the same exact thing that happened to me when I was on Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin two times it was at a part in the ride where it was on a delay and the ride was running again so the 3rd time was a night ride for Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin and it was a walk on and it got stuck right at the end and the person with the flashlight came to see what the problem was and it started back up again sadly they had to delete everyone’s scores

…this happens FAR TOO OFTEN at The House of Mouse…..

Can you say “Tianna’s BROKEN Adventure…..”…..

Definitely does NOT happen like this at Universal….

BTW do not forget the “Disney Killer” AKA “Epic Universe”…..

I guess you don’t get to Universal much. I’ve been on countless attractions there that broke down and required evacuation, most recently on Gringott’s during HHN.

How about not acting like the ride is going to be down for months!!!

How about being aware that it may be the only chance for some guests to ride in YEARS since most of them do not live near Disney.

Who really cares….. it’s just a theme park ride, not breaking news or the end of the world. Grow up.

    1. Anonymous

Many people who visit Disney fly in and can only afford to return every few years. That may be the ONLY chance for most for those guests to be able to ride in YEARS.

Them’s the breaks. That’s always been the risk of planning a trip, since day one. You never knew when something would be unexpectedly closed.

        1. Anonymous

          That’s true.

  11. Mike Gott

I rode it yesterday evening, 12/5/24, and it was amazing

    1. Brandon

      I rode it at 1pm on 12/5 myself….man…that was suuuuch a long closure….

      1. Anonymous

I wish it was closed on 12/5. It’s not fair that you guys get to ride and I didn’t. I was looking forward to riding this for years and it broke down on my only Epcot day. I wish that you never got to ride >:( >:( >:(

Troll Defined: Someone who posts or comments online, usually anonymously, to ‘bait’ people, which means deliberately provoking an argument or emotional reaction…interesting huh, O well you are probably right Mr. Anonymous.

            Yes please spank the trolls!!!!

        2. Anonymous

Correct. The trolls keep saying that to trigger all the disappointed people who were unable to ride (including me)

It is a bit sad that rides keep breaking down. I bet that one of the reasons is because some idiot was wearing a lose fitted hat and it fell off their head onto the ride and got stuck on one of the gears which caused the wiring to spark up. This is why CM’s tell you all the time to store away anything/everything that can fall of your head (like glasses/sunglasses, hats, certain chains, etc). And yet, some jerks still don’t take these things off and wonder why (one of the reasons) the rides keep breaking down. Hopefully they’ll fix this issue (whatever it ends up being) and it stops breaking down.

      It’s more frustrating than sad
