New Trump Administration Already Going After Bob Iger

Comments for New Trump Administration Already Going After Bob Iger

President Donald Trump to the left of the photo and Disney CEO Bob Iger to the right, are pictured on either side of a red zigzag line resembling a tear or division. The man on the left, wearing a suit with a red tie, speaks at a podium during what seems to be a Presidential Debate, while the man on the right, also in a suit and tie, speaks in front of a blurred background.

National news network broadcasters will not bite the hand that feeds them and only report what their bosses tell them to report. Disney’s had enough trouble already with Ron DeSantis in Florida and should have learned their lessons. Good luck to them if they want to go up against Trump. Can’t fix Stupid…………………….

“Do you think Mr. Carr should be able to strip ABC of its broadcast license simply because the incoming President does not like the network? Or would that be overstepping the bounds of his position?”

The FCC was created because a handful of people didn’t like what they heard on one, single radio station…from the one, single DJ. That group of people — instead of switching stations or turning them radio off — convinced the government to uphold “good Christian values” by regulating free speech on then radio.

This, eventually, extended to public television (after the invention of TVs). They tried to control films, as well. However, a different organization (the ratings system) was able to keep the FCC from doing so.

Since then, they FCC attempt to get involved with ANY public media out there. Yes. They once went after magazines & newspapers, too. Once again, they had to settle for only controlling the public airwaves.

Anyway, to answer the question: While I DON’T believe he “should be able to” remove a network, dust because an orange toddler got his feelings hurt by what they said, I also happen to know the reality of what they FCC is able to do. Welcome to the dictatorship that MAGA voted for. America is going to have to resist all we can, if we ate to survive these next four years.

Orange Toddler….there are blatant lies and destructive narrative.
It is being done maliciously, and there lies the difference.
This should NOT be allowed by any news network and they need to be taught a lesson.

  3. You’re wording of the question “….because the incoming President does not like the network?” seems bias and suggestive in itself. It’s pretty obvious to many folks that Trump is unfairly targeted politically by the named major news affiliates noted in your article. The many lawsuits both criminal and civil have been maligned with half truths and distorted manipulated facts. No wonder Trump won the won the election. The arrogance and fake news flamed by left lead to this colossal Democrat party defeat. Constant attacks, frivolous legal maneuvers and negative Trump reporting single handling (overwhelming) gave Trump the victory. And I suppose for that (“victory”), I’m quite pleased. People have spoken (casting of their votes) and saw (waded) through the minutiae. 🇺🇸✌️🙃

He is spot on! ABC is extremely biased, woke, and reports untruthful news! Whatever happens for their dishonesty has been brought on themselves! Be honest or be eliminated…..

Your question is biased in the way that it is worded. Disney and Iger have much to contend already after a decade or more of liberal bias and attempted societal re-engineering thru Wokeness. ABC being exposed for their debate management and Stephanopoulos’ inflammatory word usage only cements Disney’s position as being out of touch with America. I think this letter is fine. Lord knows Disney and ABC will not hear this from their own echo chamber. But I would rather that the marketplace continue to exert corrective pressure on Disney and ABC, like it is doing. I do not support further regulatory action at this time. I am hoping that Iger’s replacement can restore a sense of decency to Disney and ABC.

I hope Trump destroys all liberal media, including Disney.
We’re sick of the lies the new media tells just because they hate conservatives/good people. We’re sick of Disney cramming liberal agenda down our throats in their movies. If liberals don’t like our country, they can leave.

Cramming Marxist-Communist agendas down our throats is more like it.

Absolutely not!!! Trump is trying to control th media, and only broadcast information that suits his agenda. You now what other countries have this policy? Russia, China, Cuba. Is this what we want for our citizens, or kids, our future?

    2. Trish

I am with you! At some point they need a lesson and need to go back to REAL news reporting.

  7. JimmyDee

They don’t report News, they report OPINION and are more of a tabloid, not a News Agency. They should all be stripped of their credentials since they’ve done nothing but abuse them as they lie to the American People and the world.
    Propagandists and Criminals.
