  1. Cafe Orleans Manager Ruined the Magic

Cafe Orleans was the only place to point blank refuse to allow an order off the child’s menu at DLR. A member of my party had food issues and could only eat the offered kids meal on the menu. We even said they could give us an adult portion and price. The waitress refused and called her manager who also refused to allow the order. They also refused to bring the chef out to help the party member with their food concerns. In order not to be charged $20 for a no-show for two people by leaving without eating anything, I simply ordered a side dish for myself, since there was nothing else on the menu the other person could eat, and then took the other member of my party to eat somewhere else immediately afterward. I was then berated by the manager for not ordering more food. She was THE WORST CM I’ve ever encountered at the parks. Made the day memorable in the worst possible way. I refused to go back to Cafe Orleans for years after and it had been a favorite until this experience.

    1. I am so sorry for that experience. That is point blank the wrong thing for the staff and kitchen to do. I hope that you have better experiences now.

The fact that you believe this is frightening. Just because someone posts something on the internet doesn’t make it true…also I have a magic bean to sell you

A lot of seniors don’t eat as much either and order kids menu, I’m diabetic so don’t eat huge portions either so it’s a waste of food. I’m getting the quick service dining plan and we can use the points for meals or snacks however hungry we are.

I guess they would have to order the children’s meal. Does a two year old know how to order their meal? That’s what the parents are for ,to feed their child. It’s kind of like an oxymoron .a children’s meal or an adult meal. The child has no money and cannot come unde a contract purchase under the age of 18. Nor can a child order an adult meal. What about a parent who orders an adult meal and feeds the child from his or her meal? Should they be required to pay extra? I don’t think this ever takes place or hasn’t in the past. I hope I didn’t open a can of worms or a box of greed. Why hasn’t this issue been raised in the past ? Maybe people had more sense or corporate greed has risen to a new level. This has really began a corrundrum, to say the least. Is it
Possible to put Eugenie back into someone’s bottle or does someone now have to eat crow. ? Please let it be dear Ronnie. I’m thinking he’s got his sticky hands in the cookie jar again or it could be that clown with the little hands. Little hands make for a good thief ,but they are also a sign of a small brain that isn’t capable of making the extension of brain to hand
