I believe a young avenger show would be the best course of action rather than a movie. Even though the runaways did not do extremely well it still played out the way I would have expected… Introducing each character so they have time to flesh out. I feel like they kind of did things out of order. While Kamala/ Miss Marvel Is an interesting character I believe they rush things by adding her universe. She came much later than the Young Avengers group.
As long as they get Wiccan, speed and hulking in the group that will balance things out with the boy vs girl ratio.
I was excited to see Young Avengers. Especially since Agatha All Along gave us a GREAT place to start the team forming! With Billy looking for his “re-created” brother, he could easily encounter the others along the way.
Think about it. Disney+ series. Male lead (Billy). The others showing up. And at the end…YOUNG AVENGERS (at least, most of them). Depending on how the series pans out, MCU can still have their Young Avengers movie. Just not a 2025 release date (if it’s causing problems for them).
