More Upcharges: Disney Adds New $22 Paywall for Parade

Comments for More Upcharges: Disney Adds New $22 Paywall for Parade

A festive scene with a character dressed as Mickey Mouse in a cheerful Christmas outfit, including a red jacket and a clear top hat, riding on a colorful holiday-themed float decorated with ornaments, garlands, and lights. Snowflakes add to the festive atmosphere, reminiscent of opening a Disney advent calendar.

This IS NOT an upcharge. Curb seats are available, just as before.
This is paying for an area so you do not have to sit for hours, like all the other pay for upgrades.
My daughter fractured her neck and cannot sit on a curb for long periods of time. So, we purchase the Plaza Inn Parade Viewing Dining Package and show up 30 minutes before the parade.
Why so much bagging on Disney when any live sporting event or concert does the same thing. Call it VIP, Meet-and-Greet, Premium experience, it is everywhere, but I do not see the same complaints about a Kansas City Chiefs game or a Coachella Festival upgrade.

The ONLY Disney patrons who like THIS UPCHARGE are the ones with expendable cash or disabled family members. All others who diligently saved for a ‘lifetime experience’.

One more way to exclude guests who don’t have the cash.

Is the entrance ticket going to cover ANYTHING? It seems you have to pay extra for everything. Those people willing to pay are just bolstering Disney to find something else to uncharged for. Most families find it difficult just to pay for admission. Same goes for a previous comment about sports and concerts….I wouldn’t pay for those either!
