So everyone is to rejoice that Disney has “lowered” the price of something that was once free? We are supposed to be excited that not only do we pay exorbitant prices to go and/or stay at the no longer themed resort rooms, we get to pay extra too!!! Whoppee!! Next they will be charging per ride! GTFOOH!
I thought the same thing about the fast passes, no way I’m celebrating something that used to be free or pretending that slightly lowering the price is “historic”. While I do prefer the rooms that are minimally themed, the prices have gotten ridiculous. Then there’s the no more free MagicBands, no more Magical Express, the extra magic hours being converted to early admission (which I’m not getting up at the crack of dawn to race other people to get to rides), and only deluxe guests have access to extended evening hours. When we first started to go to Disney the vacations made sense because of all that was included, now they nickel and dime you for everything and I could take a European vacation or stay at some swanky all-inclusive in the Caribbean for less. It’s obscene.
As someone who has traveled extensively to Europe and the Caribbean you sir/ma’am/them/they are full of crap. You probably work at the same McDonalds you did in HS and then get angry at the world why you don’t have or can do nice things.
WooHoo still charging over $100 more than entry price for Fast Pass! And again no breaks for annual passholders – c’mon Disney at least do like Universal and have some sort of line jump for passholders . . .
“A family of four visiting Animal Kingdom, for instance, could save $40 compared to previous rates.”
Wow! A whole $10 per person? Why, that’s almost enough for a Mickey pretzel, or, or 2 Dole whips. Yes!
Wonder what else Disney will do to help the working, middle class guests?

Man you all need some therapy, constantly outraged over a theme park. Pathetic.
