They were closed for one reason they did not make ENOUGH money – by Disney’s greedy standards, and their product line became rubbish overall. It used to be that they were ambassadors for the brand with guests coming in for tickets, park tips, Disney Dollars, to show off their pictures and to buy items for their upcoming trips. That can’t be measured and the good will nor can the contribution to revenue generation that created. Once again IGER trashed it all.
Would love to see the stores opening back up in the UK. We have only one store in England, and it’s a 6 hour drive away from me now, meaning I cannot get there without large additional costs and inconvenience. It’s just not the same shopping online for Disney products. Not at all.
Would love to see the heyday era Disney stores back too. If the Middle East can have it, why can’t we? I have to drive 6 hours or fly to another blooming country!!
Yes, bring back the stores in the Mid West USA. We are in the middle between CA & FL and some of can’t afford to go to either park. The stores are a nice substitute for not being able to go to the parks.
Please bring back the stores in the USA!!!
