In the past, Disney would have refunded the money before the guest even asked. Now, it seems that Disney wants one’s cash and service is not guaranteed. It’s sad.
Maybe a CLASS ACTION lawsuit for ALL who have lost use of their pre-paid activities because of the park closure would be in order and it should include past as well as current purchasers!
You are the dense one. CC companies are canceling payments to Disney. I will not pay for trip
“ insurance” while my CC takes care of it for free. Speaking of not breeding, I hope you don’t.
Jolly Unger here I usually keep my mouth shut and when I see these people ranting their rants in these comment sections. Today I see these people making comments in defense of these idiot guests that don’t realize or want to accept that Disney World is not responsible for an act of God which in this case was a hurricane and they are not in any way obligated to refund to anyone. In the past they may have refunded for acts of God events but in today’s corporate Disney they are not obligated not by law to refund for any acts of God. In other words there is nothing in the law that says that they are required to refund for an event caused by Nature so two break it down for those with lizard brains to understand.
I love how people that can’t spell call other people idiots. Do you lose anything if people get a refund? Are you invested somehow?? An act of God isn’t the customers fault either. Disney used to care about their customers. That’s long gone. Another greedy company.
Just file a CC dispute for services not rendered. Every business should be prepared to refund when they cannot provide the promised services or fulfill their contractual obligation.
sue them. Period. Pay with credit card? Dispute the charge. “Charge back”. Ignore the fools who say “get insurance”. Insurance covers the traveler if the traveler cancels. Refunds are expected when business cancels on the traveler. Insurance not needed.
Man, some of you people are crazy, stupid and/or apparently don’t know how to read terms and conditions. But good luck with all your suing and disputing, let us know how that works out.

You people are dense, do us all a favor and never breed. It’s called travel insurance. Get it, use it, and stop with all the drama, sorry, DRAMA.

Dear unger.
When businesses cancels on you, they are required to fully refund your money. Failing that, a charge back would occur or civil lawsuit would be filed
Connee
Exactly. The ignorance here is staggering.

Loving how you side with a greedy ridiculously rich business, especially with the wrong info!
Why do you care?? It’s not your money.
