Comments for Classic Magic Kingdom Attraction Suffers Damage From Guest Behavior

A bustling theme park street lined with colorful buildings, leading to a large castle in the distance. Crowds of visitors in casual attire are walking, taking photos, and enjoying the sunny day. Trees and themed storefronts add charm to the lively scene.

People need to watch their children ! I have seen several children climbing all over the items in the Toy Story mania que . Hanging on railings and sitting on the toys . Meanwhile the parents are on their phones while the children run rampant . Parents would be the 1st ones trying to sue if their kids get hurt .

So the reason given is a guess. Why the dishonest title?

The screens actually don’t need you to touch the glass. You wave your hands over the screen to “paint” there’s sensors above that see your hand. I’ve seen kids hit the screen. No need to hit the glass. Be gentle.

Sorry, but that first screen has been “not working” for awhile. We were there in September and it didn’t work then. We spent 5 minutes trying to figure out what it was supposed to do. When we went to the next screen realize …Oh! That’s what it does!! It was broken! Don’t we look dumb. Any way – they don’t repair things quickly like they use to. It’s sad…more concerned about making money instead of magic 🙁

You’re right on point with that last part. It is horrible to see how bad these attractions have got, it’s bad!!

  5. I agree with the first commenter on people should be watching their kids better and another commenter mentioned kids hitting the screen. These days many people don’t teach kids the respect of property and something that belongs to someone else. What happened to the saying Take care of others property line you’d
want something if yours to be taken care of. People don’t care like they used to about treating something belonging g to someone else like they’d expect something of theirs to be taken care of. Why are people afraid to teach children the same values of when I was a kid (1960’s to 1970’s) or when my daughter was young (1990’s – early 2000’s).

There is nothing magical about the Magic Kingdom anymore. My grandchildren do not even want to go back

    1. I strongly disagree!!! Maybe your grandkids have lost the magic… but we’re still knee deep

THESE STORIES ARE MORE DISNEY PUBLICITY THEN A CRITIQUE

My pre-show/queuing line favorite for kids who still believe is following Tinker Bell in the Darling house prior to Peter Pan’s Flight in the Magic Kingdom. Love the Magic. Smiles

It wasn’t the screen, but there’s one area where it says to “knock” on something. Watched a kid 3 days ago punching it with all his might while his mother stood by and said nothing

    1. Lots of spoked brats out there… and lots of parents who do nothing

Sad world that this even has to be asked. Some people just have no respect!

Having just visited on Nov 4th, Disney is showing its age. We waited in line at Winnie the pooh for 30 minutes for them to shut down the ride. We waited 45 minutes for haunted mansion for them to shut down the ride. And we were on the people mover ride to have it stop working for at least 15-20 minutes. Also we were unaware that some rides we were supposed to make a reservation. Parents are to busy looking at their phones then paying attention to their kids.
