A character with dark skin wearing a tall black hat, a purple jacket, and a toothy grin stands in front of a sign that reads "Tiana's Bayou Adventure." The backdrop includes a lush, green landscape with a mountain and a water tower labeled "Tiana's Foods.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is racist. Don’t believe me? Look up the history of salt mines and slavery.

I’ve looked it up. The Princess and the Frog takes place in Louisiana in 1926, so it’s a post-slavery setting.

Nice try. Salt mines still exist today. Just because they used slaves at one time in history, it doesn’t make them racist today. This attraction isn’t modeled after salt mines of the 1800s when slavery was still happening.

Nice try. Your argument doesn’t hold up. Also, you need to be spanked.

  2. Splash Mountain was the favorite ride with my daughter. At the end of the day, we didn’t have to get off and we rode it several times.
Those memories are solid and won’t disappear.
Things change and, now, time for the grandkids and I to form our own memories.
Won’t waste my time trying to reclaim the past, when so much more can be appreciated. Not going to waste time with the politics and anger.

      Yes! This! ☝🏻

Things do not change and Splash Mountain is not closed. Sorry but your grandmonsters will not make any new memories.

  3. Spank You Very Much

Only delusional people who claim to live in alternate timelines believe there’s still a future where Splash Mountain survives. It is our job to mock these people incessantly.

I l9ve splash mountain but like everything else in life change has to happen. Either for upgrades, refurbishment etc. Who knows years down the road Tianas Bayou will change again. When New animated movies come out children and adults will find a new love and possibly a new ride to go along.

Splash Mountain is not closed and is not racist. Neither you nor Disney have any right to say what is. Things do not change either and Disney will never change when I take over. It will be great again and stay preserved in amber. Kids will be stuck with their parents memories and only Disney purists will be allowed.

There is no Tiana and never will be. Splash Mountain is open in the US right now and Disney has no right to change it. Things do not change anymore and the Disney parks will stop changing when I take over the whole Disney company and make it great again. The only thing new will be old attractions being resurrected like they never left.

I’ve not gone on this ride nor have I’ve seen the movie yet. I have seen some YouTube videos on this ride though. It looks pretty cool but, I agree that Splash Mountain was better because of the fact that there were a lot more animatronics in the ride. That’s 100 percent a fact. Other than that, things do change and it was time (sadly) that they replace Splash Mountain. I still love the Zippady Dodah song. It’s one of my favourites. I hope that they fix whatever problem there is on the Tatiana Ride now. Also, it would have been really nice if they would have added more animatronics.
