While each of the four theme parks at Walt Disney World offers its own selection of rides, attractions, restaurants, and shows, Disney’s Hollywood Studios takes the cake when it comes to providing some truly thrilling experiences.

For decades, rides like Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror have allowed adrenaline junkies to get their fix, with a decent chunk of Disney World rides being tailored to younger guests. Of course, Walt Disney World is a family-oriented resort, but this doesn’t mean that there shouldn’t be some exhilarating attractions.

Rock’ n’ Roller Coaster may actually just be Disney World’s most thrilling experience to date. Disney’s other coasters, like Expedition Everest, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, certainly give Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster a run for its money. Still, the Aerosmith-themed attraction has one thing the others don’t: inversions.

Rock’ n’ Roller Coaster is unique in many ways. The coaster starts with an intense launch, propelling guests from 0 to nearly 60 mph in less than four seconds. This would be intense enough, but the ride also takes place in the dark, increasing the intensity even more.

The coaster also features multiple inversions, something not seen on any other ride at Walt Disney World. According to Roller Coaster Wiki, a popular roller coaster database, Rock’ n’ Roller Coaster features the highest G-forces found at the resort (5G), likely due to its previously-mentioned inversions and high-speed launch.

There are several sharp turns in the coaster that are also quite intense, and while the experience only lasts a little over a minute, Rock’ n’ Roller Coaster certainly makes a lasting impression.

Of course, Disney World’s other coasters are just as fun, but guests keep coming back to Rock’ n’ Roller Coaster, and for good reason. The only attraction that genuinely matches the level of intensity is EPCOT’s Mission: SPACE, a rocket launch simulator where guests become astronauts.

The ride spins guests around in a centrifuge, evoking a similar feeling to that of real-life astronauts. However, when it comes to coasters, Rock’ n’ Roller Coaster is still the most rockin’ of them all.
