NOT AT ALL!! This was the most ill fitted land in all of Disney Parks put together! It even made the woeful original California adventure park in DCA look good.
This was similar to those cheap fun fair type themes, it didn’t blend with the rest of the park or the theming and looked like an add on after the park had finished. Thank god it’s going!
I am a bit sad to see it go. I agree that there were some aspects of the land that looked out of place. The carnival games didn’t make any sense being there. Most of the rest of the land made sense. Instead of demolishing the land they could have just improved it instead. Maybe made a water ride that showed all the creatures that lived in the ocean during the time that dinosaurs were around. Maybe made an attraction that the ride vehicle was a flying dinosaur and it was a family friendly roller coster. Maybe a similar ride to the safari ride but, instead of real animals it would be (obviously) animatronic dinosaurs. The ride vehicle could be a jeep similar to the one in the Jurassic Park movies. You could go on that tour and towards the end of the ride start being chased by a raptor, a dialoposaurous, a t-rex, etc. At the end of the ride (before you got off) there would be a group of people that jump out at you and protect you from being eaten and then you’ll get off and go into a store that’s filled with everything dino related. That would have been so cool!!!!!!!! But, at the end, Disney does what Disney wants to do. Maybe if they (eventually) build a 5th park they can dedicated just to dinosaurs again.
Changes have become a way of the imagineers trying to put their stamp on Disney and not improving what is already there.
However, this area has been ignored for quite sometime and needed an update.
The attraction there was rough and was removed due to injured guests instead of making improvements to make it better.

Yes, but Disney doesn’t care anyways.

Even though I haven’t been there but I disagree with this demolition, by image of it, it makes me sad 😢💔
