    Disney is rapidly pricing itself out of reach for the middle class. Doing so puts the Disney parks out of reach for a majority of the US citizens. How this could be considered a viable long term business plan is beyond me.

    Disney’s new Lightning Lane Premier Pass is nothing like Universal’s Unlimited Express which is included for free with three of the top-tier hotels. In Florida, Disney’s system includes one ride per attraction, limited to the park you’ve purchased. Uni’s is unlimited for both existing parks. Universal does sell a lower tier EP that’s once per ride, but even their paid Unlimited pass costs less than Disney’s new program. Also, since the percentage of guests with any form of Express Pass is relatively low, you pretty much walk to a loading station at will.
