I don’t go anymore because going is just not worth the price. $200 per person for a ticket is outrageous. And a lot of people are simply opting out for other places where they can have just as much fun.
Disneyland isn’t quite the “happiest place on Earth” anymore. With prices going up all the time, families might have to take out a loan just to afford a trip and a meal there! 🏰💸
It took long enough for them to realize this was going to happen. The constant price hikes have made it unaffordable for families to go to disney. It’s a shame the greed of the disney executives have made in impossible for families to go on disney vacations. Walt would not be happy with how his dream of this magical family oriented theme park for families to vacation at, has now become an impossible dream vacation for many unable to afford to go.
I think Disney would be better if they had an area for older tens/adults so that the kids could enjoy the original charm of Disney while adult goers could go to their part of the part and do rides more ages related.
You not only have the cost of the park ticket but an additional cost that varies by day/week/month on many of the rides. So the park ticket is essentially an entry fee.
I think Disney needs to focus on younger families and older adults. Universal caters to younger families, teens and young adults with their 3D and VR experiences. Many of the older adults who can’t go on those types of rides are left out. These older adults, many of who are grandparents who go on the trip with their grandchildren, are able to enjoy Disney much more because they are able to ride more rides. Disney is also fails to support the annual pass holders and make them want to stay another year. As an annual passholder, the prices are much higher and I see better benefits going to those who don’t have annual passes such as meal plans included with tickets.
It is a combination of prices way to high to where folks will not go and most families cannot afford it now. And Disney bowing to what Woke wants I just read where Toyota is dropping Woke like a hot potato that makes 12 major companies that I know of and there may be more. Disney you need to do the same thing to survive. And drop prices to where families could go I know the investers will not like but it is better than losing all you investment. Ya Hear
Gary, Gary, time for your morning meds Gary. Also, can you do me a favor and tell me what your definition of woke is, you use that word a lot and in many different contexts. Sometimes it’s a verb, sometimes a noun and sometimes an adjective.
You are still trying well you will never get me to stop Protecting Walt’s, Roy’s and all the Imagineers Legacy from Woke and all its drones like you !!!
Still can’t define it I see. Anywho, what exactly are you doing to protect this legacy that you keep ranting about, I mean aside from sounding like a crazy person on a tabloid website?
So called Uncle Walt and other Woke drones like you think I will not quit. So I will keep hitting you hard and there are other loyal Walt Disney fans doing the same thing. So all the garbage you Woke drones is going from one side of the brain to the other side and in the garbage !!
Everybody who reads this pass the word on Uncle Walt is part of Woke and there are many others like Aunt Polly and the list goes on. I also think each of them have different log in names. So do not let them intimidate you kept on hitting Disney & Woke to where Disney rids its self of Woke then Disney needs to get its house in order so that they can Disney back on Walt’s track. Then maybe Disney will be where it needs to be. So keep hitting Disney and Woke hard and pass the WORD !!
ok. So, many of us just can’t justify spending so rediculously much money for a few days of fun. Those of us who used to come annually, just can’t afford it any more. We are seniors now. Fixed incomes. Can hardly keep up with regular expenses and taxes these days. We would love to keep coming down but we’d need a loan for transportation, place to stay and all things disney. Long time ago (I’m old remember) you used to be able to get Ticket books with options. One of those was for seniors. Since we don’t often do rides, but love wandering around the parks (spending $$), eating (spending $$), there was the option for entrance only or entrance with gentle rides (like people mover, carosel, dumbo, etc) that we could do with or without grandkids. We love just wandering around the parks! How about some senior discounts on stays at WDW Resorts (including the campgrounds!!!). That too would be awesome!! I gotta say. We enjoy WDW & Disneyland for what we “remember”. Our awesome memories. With all the darn changes, it’s truely loosing the draw for us. Probably no one in the “powers that are Disney” will read this. But ya never know! Maybe someone will?
I can’t believe their heads are in the sand as to WHY! People are not financially well in this economy! Yet, Disney thinks hiking the prices, forcing ppl to pay extra$ to even TRY getting a chance of riding the new popular rides (ABOVE the higher priced tickets just to get into the parks!) is a great idea?? It’s a VACATION – using such stressful strategies to even get your money’s worth RUINS it. Not to mention the jacked up costs to stay on property. Good Lord, Disney is screwing THEMSELVES because of screwing their diehard fans. How can they not see the results are because of their OWN doing? Make it affordable again & MORE people will be repeat visitors again. Long term profits follow. DERP!
True that Nancy. Had plans for October with our family of 8. With great regret we canceled and are now going to Sevierville and Gatlinburg. Just can’t do it anymore! 🫨👋🏻
I still love WDW but i shake my head at the hypocrisy. They wave their signal flags and cry out for diversity and inclusion but ignore their disabled and non-wealthy potential guests. Don’t be fooled by their loud encouragement of bearded men in dresses. That’s not inclusion. Making disney vacations accessible to disabled and working families – that is true inclusion.
I visited Magic Kingdom last week and identified as woke at one of the TTC ticket booths and was given a discount just for saying that. The future is looking bright indeed.
It’s easy to see why people find you hilarious. You attempt to insult others with words like “dumbbell” while consistently misspelling words like “dumbbell.” LOL

We don’t go anymore because of their woke policies. Get back to family friendly and we will see.

Perhaps Disney should turn to the 3%’ers they’ve been catering to in order to help their bottom line.

Funny you say that. The cast member at the gate said, “Say hi to Gary for me. He’s the most entertaining commenter on ITM.”
