As a Disney adult I resent the implications that all Disney adults are bad and disrespectful. I have been to the Disney parks many times and never once have I knowingly disrespected a cast member or another park goer, adult or child! There have been a few times I may even have done a good deed to a cast member or a park goer regardless of age. Don’t want to brag…
So the next time you want to dis someone, check the person in the mirror first!
I’m not sure who you’re referring to about someone dissing Disney adults… I wouldn’t take it personally if I’m not one of those people acting out which is what they were referring to. They didn’t randomly start insulting them for no reason either.
I will say that the adults at Disneyland behave much much more poorly than the kids do 90% of the time. Which is pretty pathetic. But The majority still behave well enough for the parks to be tolerable. At least most days. More people with Peter Pan syndrome than ever, starting with at least my grandparents’ generation. (In my 30s) Of course Disney might unfortunately attract that type more than a lot of other places. Hopefully we can all do our part to do those good deeds, treat one another well and calmly speak up when we see injustice and rudeness happening. Otherwise you’re an enabler and guilty of making it worse.
No need to get security most times but see something say something. To that person.
There’s plenty of news out there that show people like this act,and then they saw it themselves and made a decision based on the safety of their children, guess you are there every single day and see all that happens, smh
As a Disney Adult, I know that respect is a two way street. Disney is suppose to be for everyone. I have experienced many entitled families and parents who don’t control their kids. I have patiently waited my turn for many photo ops only to have a kid or family photo bomb my turn for a favorite picture with a Disney charactor, vehicle, etc. While I don’t condone what the Disney Adult supposedly did, respect and parent responsibility starts at home. Unfortunately, there are rude entitled adults and kids everywhere. One incident doesn’t mean every adult or kid is the way this story describes.
As a Cast Member in Toontown, I clearly understand what you’re saying! Spend a couple hours working CenTOOnial Park, Donald’s Splash Pad or Fort Max and everyone commenting might rethink their ridiculous comments.
I agree about the alcohol. There’s no reason why alcohol needs to be served in any of the parks. I could concede at a nice sit down dinner having a drink or two, bug other than that it should be banned. People should not be walking around with open alcohol.
They need to offer alcohol at more locations in Disney, not less. Just because 1/1000 adults can’t control themselves, doesn’t mean the rest of us shouldn’t enjoy ourselves. Epcot would probably go bankrupt without alcohol. The amount of people that “drink around the world” is pretty high.
Terrible people are going to be terrible, whether you give them alcohol or water.
BINGO! I enjoyed going to DCA but I had couple different incidents with drunk wine moms and beer breath dads. These incidents always happen while going to Cars Land at what I call unaffectionately Pacific Wharf’s Drunkards Alley. They are purposefully making it unsafe for sober adults and children. Disney is dead. Thank you Ratty Robby Iger for destroying Disney Parks!
That person who pushed the little one whether the little one was or was not hurt should have never done it so in my opinion that person should be banned for life. The only person to touch a little one is the parent. The only exception is if the little one was in danger !!
I love Disney and have been to both Disneyland and DisneyWorld many times. It seems of late it’s every man, woman AND child for themselves. It’s all part of the crowds and accidents do happen. This won’t stop our family from going back.
Anyone who dumps good or bad of any category into a judgment on any single group is a biased opinion. That poster clearly is biased and posted that bias on social media. So not only did they not get help for the child, but they attacked an entire group of people who do not belong in said classification. It is not about being sensitive, guilty, or any other foolish thing bullies said here. The mob mentality that it is ok to pick on someone for being pissed about being lumped into a judgment they didn’t earn is really pathetic, and you all should be ashamed of yourselves. You are just as bad, if not worse, than the ignorant jerk who posted about what they saw. I, for one, am overjoyed that they won’t be returning. Good riddance! As for those posters here, if you can’t stay on topic, then don’t post anything. Nothing productive comes from ganging up someone, especially without any evidence. Some people may be adults here, but many do not behave like them.
Does anyone know if the innocent kid got hurt? Poor kiddo. No one deserves to be pushed like that. Geez!!!! These adults are the ones giving Disney adults a bad rep. I’m a 43 year old female. I consider myself a Disney adult. I would never act like the way that Disney adult acted like. I would gladly give up my space for a child to have a better view of a parade. I’ve even let kiddos get in front of me to get on the ride faster. Not all Disney adults are jerks you know.

This is their “first” time visiting the park and they know what “Disney Adults” are and that they are entitled??? I call BS on the whole thing.

P.S. Maybe this is one of the reasons Walt Disney didn’t want alcohol served at D’land?

No Matt you are wrong all you want is to drink !!
janet
Exactly 💯, Matt sounds like an entitled alcoholic wishing for self validation and normalization of his liquor consumption.
