    And yet there are regional theme parks that are thriving more than ever, such as Dollywood and Silver Dollar City.

    What do the ones that are thriving have in common? Lots of entertainment offerings, what many theme parks are forgetting about is that yet there are people that want thrill rides, but there are many that want family friendly rides and entertainment that aren’t rides at all and these people are family members of the ones that one thrill rides, so both are equally important if you want to get people in the door.

    Sea World and Busch Gardens have forgotten this and pretty much abandoned most of their shows, even Disney is having issues and they have many shows that are still not running.
