“A third guest was found unresponsive in a Discovery Cove pool in early July. The man in his 50s was taken to a local hospital where he survived a near drowning.”

Get the facts correct before reporting, this man died at the hospital later the same day.

I was in the same pool at Discovery Cove when they were trying to revive the man that passed away last week.

I personally think that people are not aware of Underwater Hypoxic Blackout. People who have never snorkeled or stayed underwater for extended periods of time are doing it for the first time on vacation and end up passing out underwater where no one realizes what is happening until it’s too late. It’s very sad and I think that more awareness should be brought to the potential danger of it.
